Last night a team of our most curious anthropologists entered Zul'Aman again to make yet another effort to find the source of these primitive trolls power. It has puzzled us greatly that a tribe without any technology of any consequence whatsoever can be so powerful. There are obviously more to these trolls than meets the eye, and we are determined to get to the bottom of it.
In a mopping-up action we shortly re-examined the dwellings of Halazzi. We were fortunate and found him home and wasted no time in persuading him to submit to our examinations. Unfortunately, we found only traces of their power source here, and decided it was time to venture deeper into the lush jungle of their crumbled city.
What we found was Hex Lord Malacrass and his cronies, which turned out to be a mottled crew. An ogre, a snake, an imp and a ghost? What hidden power is he wielding, to summon such disparage and incompatible companions? We decided to find out.
A mere nine attempts later we had our answer. The research budget was somewhat exceeded, but the rewards makes it all worthwhile. More pieces of the puzzle were found and distributed to the benefit of our own collective power. A [Cloak of Ancient Rituals] went to Ajaxx and a [Dagger of Bad Mojo] went to Sisel. Congratulations scientists!
Raid Report: Hazing the Hexlord

Deciding there was no way to better embrace the lull in guild-organised raiding, CoM packed up 25 of their hardest-drinking members and went on a guild-organised raid!
The target was our old pal Gruul. We have something of a history with the big guy, and his downfall was a long time coming. Indeed I'm sure he could hear some members grumbling something about 1% from halfway across Blade's Edge Mountains.
But despite this warning, he still went down, in what would've been a spectacular one-shot. That is if there hadn't been in the raid, a Warlock of such magnificent evil, he was able to wipe the raid even when lagged out and not technically existing, and then re-killed half the members upon logging back in for good measure.
The next attempt however, went a lot better and the big fella fell over. He had the following stashed in his loincloth...
[Leggings of the Fallen Hero] grats Crotix
[Leggings of the Fallen Defender] X2 grats to Klovborg and Zombie.
[Eye of Gruul] grats Wergilius
and [Gauntlets of the Dragonslayer] grats Sisel.
Thanks to all who atended this, and the subsequent Maggy smashing that celebrated Circle of Myths' completion of Tier 4 content.

Extra Safety
on Thursday 26 June 2008 - 14:22:46 | by Peloquin
Blizzard have announced a new optional device that will give players an extra level of security for their WoW accounts.
$6.50 will buy them a keyring-type device that generates a six digit number at the press of a button. This number will now be needed in addition to your password when logging in. This number will only be good for one use and will expire in around a minute, which will make things very hard for keyloggers.

Update your Adobe Flash player. Now!
on Sunday 01 June 2008 - 01:40:51 | by Roic
You should immediately go to Adobe and update your Adobe Flash Player. If you ever have seen a YouTube video, you do have this installed, even if you don't know it. Updating is very simple and takes only a minute.
So just do it. Do it now.
The problem is that there's some poorly written code that will allow someone to feed you a tainted video and get information out of your system. There's rumoured to be over 200 000 websites with malware infected flash content, also including keyloggers.
